The aim of the first movements of Pranayama Yoga is to completely remove tension from our system. We work on the whole of our body (inside and out), stimulating our meridian and pressure points during the movements, as well as working on the chakra system from the base of the spine to the crown of the head. The spine is stretched and strengthened and the nervous system is soothed with the mind, breath and body, working in harmony with each other.
